In spite of all elaborate preparations, and contrary to our hope and expectation, Apsi could not win the “Abang and None North Jakarta” contest.
Although, as we all observed, Apsi has been performing excellently........
For our consolation however, not all are actually lost.....
As one of the finalists, Apsi still belongs to the North Jakarta “Abang and None Family”, she is still a member of the “North Jakarta Abang and None Team”, a team which is dedicated in helping the North Jakarta Local Government in “Tourist Promotion”. This team is also known as the “North Jakarta Duta Wisata”.
In front of her, there will still be a series of programs dedicated to the promotion of North Jakarta. There are 12 tourist destinations which are still waiting to be visited, e.g.: The Ancol Dreamland Garden, Mangrove Garden, Sea World, Jakarta heritage: The House of Si Pitung, and many others.
Also, there are many aspects of the local people’s life and activities (traditional songs, costumes and dances, as well as their unique way of life) which still need to be introduced............. not only to other Indonesians in other parts of Indonesia, above all, to the world..........
